{The quiet scares me ’cause it screams the truth.} Video Interpretation Challenge Week 1: P!nk – Sober

Hi hi everyone! I recently read and heard about a new blogger challenge hosted by one of my friends, Kismet Faith. You can read more about it here. For this week, the video is Sober by P!nk. I don’t know about y’all, but I LOVE P!nk and she’s one of my favorite artists. So many of her songs fit into my life and ring true for me, and this song is no exception. There were a few different looks in this particular video, and I chose to do my interpretation of the all white look, where it seemed that P!nk had driven herself crazy.

    I’m actually a bit late with this post, so technically this week’s video to interpret is going to be Get It Right by Jennifer Lopez. That should be interesting! I’m really looking forward to this challenge. I’m off to start my busy, busy Saturday, I hope y’all have a fabulous weekend!! <3

Hi again! Y’all get two posts from me in one day, don’t you feel special? Anyway, this is a special post for a few reasons. I take no credit for the idea behind it, because it was the idea of my best friend, Adelayda GossipGirl. She decided she would take a short return from her blogging hiatus and let me pose with her for some pictures inspired by the Mortal Instruments series, which I have now started reading as well, and I’m hooked! We took these pictures about a month ago, but I’d been busy and sick and busy again so I didn’t get to blog them until now.    Posing and styling for these was a lot of fun! I actually felt like a Shadowhunter getting ready to battle a group of demons. I hope she and I get to do more posts like this in the future!

I Will Break Into Your Thoughts…

Hi guys! So, I recently got the honor of being chosen to blog for a new (ish) up and coming skin store called 7 Deadly s{K}ins. It’s new to me, and when I received these items to blog, I knew I had made a good decision. Each skin is truly unique, and I think really pretty as well. The two I’m showing are Busty and Lust, each in Tone 1.

  I’m showing Busted on the left and Lust on the right. See how different each face is? I love that! 
Each skin comes in 12 body types, and each body type comes in 4 skin tones, including a Fantasy tone! There are also different make ups and freckles, and her newer skins now have Lolas Tangos appliers available. She also sells shapes, so if you ask me, you’re sure to find a skin there that’s right for you!

Bliensen + MaiTai at Fantasy Faire 2013

Hi guys! I have just a few more things to show y’all. Bliensen + MaiTai is another store I’ve admired from afar for a long time because their stuff is eclectic and different, totally not what you would see very day. Some of the things I got are (in my opinion) totally adorable, and some are very out there. In my opinion though, all are awesome.

Here, I’m showing the Mine! earrings and necklace sets in Sea and Fire. Sea (left) is part of Mix 1, which is part of one of their RFL donation items. Each set comes with four colors.

The Looking at You earrings come in six eye colors. The Third Eye is texture change and is their other RFL donation item.

The Hokus Love (?) Potion comes in a necklace version, and a standalone flask version that is resizeable. The Pixie Shoes are adjustable, and they also come with a version for Petites.
 
The Undine Mermaid Hair is available in two versions, Natural colors and Wild colors, and each comes with a flexi attachment and is color change via a menu.

Aaand that’s it! Awesome stuff, right? Don’t be surprised if you see me wearing stuff from this awesome store in the future. The Fantasy Faire IS officially over, but the sims are open until Thursday. Bliensen + MaiTai is located at Titans Hollow at Fantasy Faire 2013.

Lupoaica at Fantasy Faire 2013

Hi hi! This is just a short post to show y’all the female RFL Donation item from Lupoaica. I’m showing the Evita hair; it’s a suuuuper long braid with a color changing band. You can change the color of the hair and band via a HUD which is super simple. It also comes with lots of different alpha layers, so you more than likely wouldn’t even have to fix your head shape. I think that’s pretty awesome. I, for one, also think this hair is perfect for bringing out your inner Rapunzel, or for any roleplay or character you feel this gorgeous hair could fit into.

Like I mentioned above, this is a RFL Donation item. Each color pack is 200L and the fatpack is 800L. The Faire is technically over, but I have it on good authority that the sims are going to be open until Thursday, but you didn’t hear that from me… Lupoaica is located on Ravenshard at Fantasy Faire 2013.
